Bollywood actor Disha Patani is all set to make her Hollywood debut with the upcoming supernatural action-thriller “The Portal of Force”. The makers released the film’s official trailer on Friday, creating excitement among fans worldwide.
The film features an international ensemble cast including Kevin Spacey, Tyrese Gibson, and Dolph Lundgren alongside Disha Patani.
“The Portal of Force” will serve as the first chapter in the ambitious “Statiguards vs Holiguards Saga”, a brand-new cinematic universe created by Lado Okhotnikov.
In the movie, Disha plays Jessica, one of the most important characters in the storyline. Jessica finds herself trapped in a hidden war between two ancient rival factions — the Statiguards and the Holiguards. As the daughter of leaders from both sides, she eventually discovers that she is “The Chosen One”, a powerful bridge between the two worlds whose fate could determine the future of humanity.
Talking about her experience working on her first international project, Disha shared that joining the film was both exciting and challenging. She said she had been eagerly waiting for the trailer release and described the project as a major opportunity to grow as an actor.
The actor also revealed that collaborating with an experienced global cast became a valuable learning experience for her. According to Disha, storytelling goes beyond language and geographical boundaries, and genuine emotions on screen connect with audiences everywhere.
Known for her love of action roles, Disha said bringing her experience from Indian cinema to a global platform felt extremely empowering. Fans are especially excited to see her in a larger-than-life action avatar in Hollywood.
Interestingly, the film also marks Kevin Spacey’s return to directing after more than 20 years.
Apart from her Hollywood debut, Disha Patani will also appear in the upcoming Bollywood sequel Awarapan 2.
